Results from the training

At least 5 Punong minority people learned to produce community radio programs at a training conducted by UNESCO in cooperation with the Provincial Department of Information and the Cambodian Center for Independent Media (CCIM). The five-day training was conducted at the Provincial Department of Information Oct 10-15, 2011.

Report on Journalist Training on Reporting Freedom of Expression PDF Print E-mail

Before the training start, a number of preparation activities were done. Announcements were made via radio, email, and phone to call for applications from journalists. The Award Committee was created to set criteria, at a meeting, for the winners of writing and publishing/airing/posting articles on freedom of expression. These criteria were set to inform the trainees during the training in order to write these articles after the training.
